Our Boxing Day lunch is served at 12.30pm and 2.30pm.
Built 700 years ago, The Rose and Crown is the oldest hotel in Colchester. A truly unique venue for you to enjoy your festive celebrations.
Your Boxing Day lunch will be served in our Oak Room; a very traditional room which looks stunning over Christmas with its original oak beams.

Our beautiful 700 year old hotel is located just a 20 minute walk from Colchester town centre, ideal for anyone arriving by bus or train.
Taking a stroll up to Colchester Castle Park is a lovely way to spend time with your friends or loved ones after your Boxing Day lunch.
We have FREE parking with 35 spaces available, although this can get busy at peak times. The nearest public car park is Priory Street Car Park.
