The Rose Room

The Rose Room is the biggest meeting room at The Rose and Crown Hotel Colchester, ideal for large conferences and company gatherings, but also suitable for smaller meetings.

This meeting room is able to accommodate up to 100 people in theatre seating, 50 in a horseshoe arrangement and 60 boardroom style.

The Prison Room

Located on the lower ground, our historic Prison Meeting Room can cater for up to 20 delegates in either boardroom or theatre style. It comes equipped with an LCD projector, audio kit, whiteboard, TV and Wi-Fi.

And in case you were wondering – yes, our Prison Meeting Room really did serve as a working prison in the 14th century!

Excellent stay at the Rose and Crown this weekend. A warm greeting from reception awaited us. Our room was very good, clean and tidy and in keeping with the rest of the hotel. There was ample complementary tea, coffee, milk etc in the room. We ate dinner at the hotel which was equally enjoyable.
