Treat yourself to a delicious three course Christmas lunch in our traditional 14th century hotel this December.
From a small get-together with friends or family up to large private functions, we promise to get your Christmas celebrations off to a flying start.
Christmas lunch is served from our Christmas menu from 12pm-2pm. For an evening meal, join us for our Christmas party nights.
Our 700 year old hotel is the oldest in Colchester. A truly traditional place to enjoy your festive celebrations.
Your Christmas lunch will be served in our Oak Room; a very traditional room which looks stunning over the festive season with its original oak beams.

THE PERFECT LOCATION
The Rose and Crown Hotel is conveniently located just a 20 minute walk away from Colchester town centre, making us one of the most popular venues for a Christmas lunch in Colchester.
You’ll find great public transport links for anyone arriving by train or bus. We’re just 1.6 miles from Colchester train station.
We have FREE parking with 35 spaces available, although this can get busy at peak times. You’ll find FREE on-street parking from 6pm-8am in the surrounding area and the nearest public car park is Priory Street Car Park, which is a 13 minute walk from our hotel.
