Yes, for the third year running, our historic Colchester hotel has been granted the official honour of being named one of Essex’s best places to tie the knot, and we couldn’t be happier. We put a lot of hard work, time and effort into the civil ceremonies and wedding celebrations we host here at The Rose and Crown Hotel Colchester, so to receive this accolade for another consecutive year is the absolute icing on the cake.
Of course, special mention must go out to our Rose and Crown Hotel Wedding Coordinator Lisa, who has the privilege of working with all the couples who choose to say their “I dos” at our 14th century Essex wedding venue. Lisa loves her job, which is one of the reasons she’s so amazing at it, even going as far as to customise her clothing to the colour theme of the weddings she’s overseeing. In fact, together with resounding praise from our Rose and Crown Hotel couples, Lisa’s even been up for Wedding Coordinator of the year on several occasions, and we feel extremely lucky to have her as a key part of our Rose and Crown Hotel weddings team.
